Well, i finally started my own blog, lol. Feels kinda like a diary but not so secret.
And as is typical of myself, my mind is going blank. I plan to write a blog each week about events, plans, and actions that take place in my life. Sounds like a star trek kind of thing, "to boldly go, where no man has gone before". Not that i am a trekie fan, or sci fi one, or a man for that matter!!!!
How strange it feels for me on a Sunday night. the days just wizz by during the week and i never get that Sunday night feeling. The hate getting up for Monday morning feeling and the start of a new week feeling. Maybe it's because i have children that there never is a lye in at the weekends and so i never feel like it's going to be an early Monday morning. Who else gets that Sunday night feeling? And what is the cure? Having children!!!! lol
Maybe it's because as a child my mum always cooked roast dinner's on Sunday and done the ironing, we where always bored on Sunday's as children. Was it just my mum with the predictable Sunday roast?
Anyway i'm rambling, I also plan to widen my knowledge so shall put an interesting fact with my blog.
As it is fathers day did you know that the first fathers day was on June 19, 1910. it was founded by Sonora Smart Dodd. She was raised by her father along with 6 siblings, and felt fathers should be recognised as much a mothers are.
father can mean - a male parent, a male ancestor, a priest, God.
That was a bit of a boring fact, but hey it's my first ever blog, give me a break. lol
Happy blogging, catch you next week.
I suppose this is the only time you can say your a virgin, in your blog. Not having a child just yet I do get that Sunday night feeling, 'have I used the weekend to its full potential?'. I will let you know if that feeling goes in 4 months time! Not that I ever get a lay in now!
ReplyDeleteWell done on your first blog. I look forwards to nexts week one.
Heres a question as your a mother; should i read at least one book on parenting or just go with my common sense when its born!?
Well estellious, i am no expert, but i always say read as much info as possible about parenting, everything helps in my book. BUT the two most important things, Always Always ask your mum as she has a free wealth of experience and two, always go with your gut instinct, never fails. xxxxxxxxxxxxx
